Low Dose Immunotherapy
Low Dose Immunotherapy (LDI) is one of the individualized options our doctors may discuss with certain patients. This page is an educational overview only.
What it is
Low Dose Immunotherapy uses very small, highly diluted doses of specific antigens. Doses are prepared individually and dosing is adjusted over time based on how a patient responds. Because it is highly individualized, LDI is always discussed one-on-one before it is considered.
What a conversation looks like
- A review of your health history, current concerns, and anything you have already tried.
- A discussion of whether LDI is appropriate for your situation, and what alternatives may make more sense.
- If it is appropriate, an explanation of how dosing and follow-up are handled, and what to expect at each visit.
This information is educational and is not a promise of any particular result. Low Dose Immunotherapy is not appropriate for everyone, and we do not claim that it treats or cures any disease. Please talk with our doctors about your individual situation.
